Product Safety
Product safety, recalls, incident reporting, restricted products, compliance review and authority cooperation.
1. Safety Commitment
Homineed aims to list consumer products that are lawful, accurately described, and suitable for the markets where they are offered. Product safety, labeling, instructions, warnings, and market eligibility must be checked before public sale.
Where EU product safety, US consumer product safety, customs, labeling, electrical, battery, toy, child, hygiene, pet, chemical, textile, or other safety rules apply, Homineed should keep evidence that the product is appropriate for the market before sale.
2. EU GPSR and Market Safety Checks
Before offering products to EU consumers, Homineed should check whether the EU General Product Safety Regulation, sector-specific EU rules, labeling rules, traceability rules, importer obligations, responsible-person requirements, or Safety Gate obligations apply.
Product pages should include safety warnings, instructions, age restrictions, manufacturer/importer information, traceability details, and other required information where applicable to the product and market.
Products should be blocked or removed from EU sale if manufacturer/importer documentation, safety evidence, labeling, warnings, or market eligibility cannot be confirmed.
3. Reporting a Product Safety Issue
If you believe a product is unsafe, recalled, defective, counterfeit, mislabeled, missing warnings, or caused an incident, contact support@homineed.com promptly with the order number, product name, photos, batch or serial details, packaging, instructions, and incident description.
Homineed may investigate, request evidence, contact product partners, pause listings, notify customers, report to authorities, issue refunds or replacements, or arrange recall steps where required.
4. Recalls and Corrective Action
If a product is recalled or requires corrective action, Homineed may notify affected customers, remove or block listings, coordinate returns or repairs, publish instructions, contact authorities, and preserve relevant records.
Customers should follow product warnings, manuals, age limits, installation instructions, charging instructions, supervision warnings, and care requirements.
5. Sellers and Future Partner Listings
If Homineed allows partner-managed listings in the future, each seller must provide accurate identity, contact, product safety, compliance, recall, and traceability information before products are made available.
Homineed may remove products, suspend sellers, freeze payouts, notify authorities, or contact customers if product safety, authenticity, compliance, or recall concerns arise.
Prohibited Products Policy
Product categories and listing behavior that Homineed does not allow.
1. Prohibited Categories
Homineed does not allow illegal goods, recalled goods, counterfeit goods, stolen goods, unsafe goods, products that violate sanctions, products that infringe intellectual property rights, or products that cannot lawfully be sold or shipped in the destination market.
Restricted categories include weapons, ammunition, explosives, controlled drugs, prescription medicines, unapproved medical devices, hazardous chemicals, products with missing safety documentation, illegal surveillance devices, adult or age-restricted goods unless specifically approved, and products targeting children without required compliance.
2. Compliance Review
Homineed may require manufacturer/importer documentation, product testing, labeling review, safety declarations, traceability information, customs classification, market eligibility checks, and product-specific legal review before listing.
Products may be paused, removed, blocked from a market, or made noindex while copy, safety, shipping, tax, or legal checks are incomplete.
3. Enforcement
Homineed may reject or remove products, cancel orders, notify customers, report products, suspend partners, or cooperate with authorities if prohibited or unsafe products are detected.
